The links between sport and art are deep and have existed for centuries. Both art and sport are sources of pride and generate a dynamic of optimism.
The goal of this contest is to create a work that is emblematic of people and bicycles. It should be an enduring work and will be located on a public area at the entrance to the city of Lille.
This is a unique occasion for participants to give important visibility to their work.
Artists should use as their theme the link between people and sports :

Vitality, sincerity, generosity and responsibility
